Restoran 12 Mixed Rice is an economy rice shop ('chap fan') at the end of Jalan Kakas, right at the corner. If you've passed Big Bowl or San Yulik, then you are on the right track. Just take a slow drive down and you'll see a big lighted signboard saying 12 Mixed Rice. I come to this place off and on, mostly whenever someone suggested it. They serve a huge variety of Chinese dishes as well as some curry ones. When I say a huge variety, I meant it, Restoran 12 cooks up more dishes than most economy rice shops and the dishes are often freshly cooked and warm. Sometimes I would need to walk up and down a few times just to decided what exactly to pile up on my plate of rice. The Chinese tea there is self-service. All you had to do is go to the back and get yourself a cup from the dispenser. The price here is within affordable range. I wouldn't say it's cheap but it's not overpriced either.
